The Car That Will Destroy VRAlex’s 996TT
We all are familiar with quick Supras running two small turbos, and huge HP Supras running a single large turbo. Why not combine the best of both worlds . . . a Supra running two large turbos . . . Twin GT40s.
Below are photos of a Supra that will be hitting the road in about a month. It will be running twin GT40s (with the largest internals available for the GT40). It will also have a myriad of custom and unique components, both inside the engine and out. This car is going to be other-worldly.
So we have finally found a car that will destroy VRAlex’s 996TT. And who is building this mean machine? VRAlex of course!!!

I dont know about three cylinders spooling up that hug turbo. That thin gis going to lag like crazy. When it hits though WOW, it is going to roll. I tried to race a friend in a @JZ supra this morning and he pulled pretty bad. He can beat me from a dig too because he has 345's out back.

I worked at a Supra shop that did some twin T66 turbos on a Supra. The owner blew the tranny and the engine once. Problem with the Supras is that they have no traction once you get above 500HP to the rear tire.

I have owned and run mid 8's in Supra's and they are undoubtly one of the more impressive power plants out there. If properly built can take massive amounts of boost (as high as 60lbs). However, I think that on the street a extreme hp Porsche is quite a match for even the highest hp supras, particularly from a dig. Alexanders car would certainly not be humiliated by one. If it's manual tranny to manual tranny and 18" street tire to tire, the Porsche will concur and that includes against the likes of Ryan Woon's 8 sec car!

Craig thanks for taking the time to photograph her...It has been about a week since I last saw her...

She will light up like a cruise missile when 55lbs of boost hit at an est 5300RPM's..The motor Redline is set at 10500RPM, this is due to special head work as well as custom cams and how can I forget about the Motec M600. I will be running a fully (Motec) programmagle NOS system that can be used to spool thouse (Chris Chow designed) turbos about 1500RPM's quicker.

Thanks. Over two years of development and over 100K have gone into this ICBM...

1500RWHP is the goal at 45psi without NOS...

You are correct on that, however this Poopra is a bit different. No stone is left unturned (like all my projects). When she hits the streets, the entire drivetrain will be good for 2000ft-lb of torque..this is due to several individuals in the industry that are world class at what they do... As for traction...not an issue (hopefully not spoken prematurely)...the Motec has an individual program for each gear as well as altitude and road surface (Motec traction controll) changes...sensors on each wheel log the info and the computer adjusts...

Yes...it is a 1994
j/k..as usuall I will post info after I retire her...this thread is more info than I would ever post (wait a minute, Craig opened the floodgates- lol)before a car like this is on the road and proven...

PS>Her finall weight should tip the scales at 2900lb...

Thanks again CRAIG for taking the photos and NOT KNOWING ANY MORE DETAILS about her...
