This is a cheap (hundreds not thousands) upgrade from porsche motorsports made specifically for OUR car that bolt on. They increase rotor air flow by over 30%.
Micheal, I can only speak for myself at Sebring and have run long and hard on both the long and short track. I currently use the Pagid orange which are awesome at the track except for occassional noise (I dont care about noise just performance). These pads also work fine on the street and usually DONT make any noise, dont need to heat up and work just like street pads.
Soooo....I stopped changing my pads back and forth as others do because it is not needed.
The orange pads do need to be "bedded" in properly and so anyone who disagrees with my experience has probably not bedded them in correctly. You will then get alot of noise and also uneven material distribution on the rotors and they will "shake" when you brake hard.
I have had no fading issues when many around me have. Especially at the Sebring short track and Road Atlanta.
The only other thing I STRONGLY recommend to prevent fade is to flush your fluid before events and I ALWAYS use Castrol SRF fluid. IMO this is a far superior (and expensive) fluid.
The above should either prevent or deminish fade entirely. If you still have problems at the track you will need to bleed your lines at the track.
Oh and one other thing, I never go to the track with less 50% of the pads still there. If you wear the pads lower than that they really transmit more heat and will then increase your fade chances.
good luck!

Michael - we met at the Sebring corale. Check my rant on Sebring track day 4/15.

I ran it STOCK on PS2s with nothing more than a helmet, magnetic numbers and a brake bleed/flush.
My brake upgrade is planned as follows:
Pagid Orange (4 corners)
SS Braided lines
Speed Bleeders
MOTUL Fluid (I've had great results)
It's nice to hear that the P-Orange pads work for street use too. Although about the first time they might squeak on the street - they're outta there - I hate that around town.
Tom and Michael - we need to meet up for some track time together and swap tech and lies
