It dpends how much you are getting the X50 for!!
If you call Stephen I think new K24s are in the 3K region and intercoolers are 1200...Thus, if you plan level 4 and the premium on X50 on the TT is morethan 5K for non-X50 screw the X50. If I could redo it I definitely would not get the X50. Had I never known of this forum Id probably have a stock car...obviously taht has all changed

I have to agree that my next car will be a very tough choice indeed. But who knows cuz the way things are shaping up in the auto industry, stock cars will be pushing 500HP at a minimum out of the factory.

So until then I am enjoying every minute of my car.

Strangely enough, when i first was looking at 911 Turbo's, i came away unimpressed after my first non-X50 ride. I relayed my thoughts to Sean who later on test drove a stock Turbo and had the same feeling as me. We both agreed that since our M5 were pretty powerful NA cars, it would take some serious HP to make the car feel significantly faster. Note that i am not talking about handling, braking, etc. so no need to bring up the comparison debate, which is pointless anyway since they are so different cars. Most of you know how the story ended for both Sean and me and he will agree that my car gave birth to his.

Teutonictrio.....Yes, if you have the X50 the cost of the turbos is deducted from the cost of the kit. We have done many X50s and even GTIIs that used the stock turbos with our programming. The GT kit requires that the car to use different turbos than the K24s and do require yours as an exchange. Also if you have a X50 car the stages are a bit different as the programming has to be different for the turbos.

How exaclty are the stages different for an X50? Can you elaborate, either here or via PM?
