Here's a run of mine where I whooped up on a Camaro. He had me until the 1000' mark where I blew past him:

Porsche has done almost everything that it could to make these cars poor 1/4 milers (super-short 1st gear, tight suspension, AWD,etc.) I've seen other cars that trap at 136mph run mid to high 9's with the same trapspeed.

I agree... those cars in the 120s still run 10s but the 60 ft. is very low...

Now that the videos have been shown to verify the times "Bahrain 966TT" has made.
I would like to congratulate him on his low 10 second passes and believe that the 9's are within close reach.
Good luck and hope you accomplish your goals safely.
Hope to see you soon in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
P.S. It was a shame that none of us was able to participate in SPEEDTRIP 7.
There is always a next chance god willing.
Congrats again and keep us (Porsche Cummunity Enthusiasts) on our toes for more action....SAFELY.

Sharky, u know of all people... thats some crazy .. and I mean crazy 60ft. time. they even got 1.2 and 1.1s...
what do u think? is it possible.. on a 3300 lbs car with 600+ rwhp?
one thing he has going for him is that he has no PSM and its truly a RWD.
I believe It.. unless something comes up on the sensors or something... just a month ago guys were talking sh@t when CHAD said that he will run 1.3s... and look now... how fast opinions change(including mine).

Sure anything is possible but I sure as hell am not going to fly to Bahrain to investigate this to satisfy anyone.
1) GT2 has stock internals. It was actually a RUF 600 before. The GT700 was installed in "Bahrain 996TT" car in his quest for more power.
2) Bahrain 996TT is a longtime customer of EVOMS. - This was already covered in a post in the first few pages.
Hope this helps cure your curiosity !!!!!

Was it a Ruf 600. I aware that Ruff made a 590 and now a 650. If it really was one of those then I believe it had to have Ruf titanium steel rods.
