Congrats, that is a very fast run indeed!
(and an amazing 60 ft!!!!!)
What has been changed on the internals of this car?
Are there several versions of the "GT700 KIT" ??
IE, Does Zippy's = Jags911T = Renntech 12 == Bahrain 996TT ??
absolutely fantastic run ! congrats EVOMS.

thats what I always was saying.. that out tts suck at the track and its so hard to get a good 60 ft.

That is a good point,
Can any other conclusions be made as a comparison to
Divexxtremes run: He ran a 10.67 @ 135.5 mph with a crappy (much
better than I could do) 60ft time of 1.6 something?
what does it mean with worse 60ft times and higher miles per hour??
thanks,
MK

Let me be clearer in my question because I am trying to learn:
if someone has slower 60 ft by 3/10 second and a higher mph
by 5-6 mph, then is the car with the higher trap speed making
more power ?????

This is 100% correct. Higher trapspeeds means higher HP (provided the weight and conditions such as temperature, elevation, humidity etc. didn't change).
Cograts on the 10.3 and 1.30 60 foot time (that's awesome!)

Hi guys i just came back from track i couldnt break into 9s i only did 2 runs in my GT800 the first run 10.75 @ 214.60 and the second run was 10.364 which is close to the GT700 time my clutch was slipping again i have to go with tilton tripple disk clutch the clutch that i have on the car is killing the performance once i shift fast from 1st to 2nd gear i dont know what happens to 3rd gear it starts slipping for a second and then it goes it would do the same thing in fourth gear too
the weird thing is when i race both the GT700 AND GT800 both cars on RWD
the GT800 pulls really hard on the 700 especially now since i have open headers the turbo kicks in very fast
i guess the GT700 is performing better because it based on a GT2 which launches really good without wheel hopping like my turbo GT800
i hope in future i will achieve my goal in getting one of my porsches into 9s
but for now i'm happy with what both cars performed
i asked Todd to up-load the time slip of todays event

Again, it kinda makes sense. Look at the hp rating of a Cup car.

It's typical for the traps speeds to be higher on any given car when the launch isn't great. On the same car, with a worse launch, due to spinning or bogging, generally yields a higher et, and a higher trap speed. On the same car, with a great launch, the et will be lower, as will the trap speed.
