We had some fun racing today. Did a few runs and videos soon to follow. First lemme say that both cars are very fast. We did most runs from a rolling start in second gear. Racing from 1st gear I have major traction problems, second is marginally better. In second gear my car pulled marginally ahead and third and fourth the gap widens. We will post videos soon as Darren can find his damn cord. Both cars are awesome.

 

Does the StageIV GT use the Garrett Ball Bearing Turbos or the K24s?

 

Just to clarify, Detailer IN NOT running an EVO Stage 4 GT. We are still trying to see if he is even running a Stage 4, he may just be at Stage 3. The turbos on that car are K24's.

 

HMM interesting I think he is going to have is car dynoed while he is down here. Having drove his car and having stage 4 prior I would say it is definatly Stage 4 if not quicker. Anyway like I said it was a blast and will be post videos soon.

 

I was in Duane's car 3 days ago as a passenger, and it does pull hard. Also, my ears are still ringin. However, MY AWD Imagine Stage 4 feels a bit faster, but then again, that is behind the wheel, not as a passenger. From my understanding the Stage 4GT is available only via EVO and Imagine - Am I incorrect?

Don't forget, your old car was using the same gearing as mine in third thru 6th. That's the equilvent of a silent fifty ponies.

 

Shank your car produced the same HP and torque to the wheels on the same dyno that Stephen uses prior to my most recent round of mods. Not to mention we had idential mods Fabspeed exhaust,k24 turbos and Stage 4 programming. Now I am about 60 more HP and 60 plus pounds of torque higher.

 

Duane, possibly, I think mine was 512 RWHP, and 556 RWTQ, but I have to dig up the dynos to be accurate. I had K24's as well.

Chad not sure if it was the gearing, but you could be correct.

 

Ryan, all I'm saying is those gears will leave an equal powered car in the dust while in those gears.

Duane is running alot more than 512 ponies.

 

Mine pulled 509 and 546 rw torque prior to most recent round of mods confirmed on two dynos.

 

Duane, I just wanted to get things straight so everyone understands. Detailer has K24 turbos on his car. Our Stage 4Gt uses Garrett turbos. Second, I spoke with Detailer last week about his program. I am almost confident that he is running Stage 3 because I nor any of my affiliates installed stage 4 in his car.

Yes it was!!!! Todd correct me if I am wrong but all Stage 4 consists of is Exhaust,K24's and Stage 4 programming. I am pretty sure he purchased his stage 4 programming from Matt at Meridian but not positive. Anyway I would of love to see how my car would of faired against the Stage 5 and other cars in the shootout. Next time I hope it will be in a more central location with more notice. Also I want to add that my car's software is not properly tuned. Some people were not that willing to help prior to the shootout. Once these final issues are rectified I should pick up more power power.

 

I don't believe it makes any difference if Detailer had Stage III, Stage IV, IVGT or GTR. Duane is still running bigger ponies.

 

Actually, it makes a world of a difference. Stage 4 GT has more ponies than stage III and stage IV.

Also, ponies shine in top speed and higher RPM's.

BTW, how much Ponies is he running now? Torque?
