UPDATE: 10.272 sec@136.59 mph(video)
Ok its not my TT.. but thats on the way.. this is an update to my last weeks 10.5sec run... we did today 10.272 sec@136.59 mph with 1.5 60 ft.. not bad for a street car. BTW- they didnt show times to the public(street drag day).I would like to Thank Adam from DEVO TUNING for his work on the car.
Its a full weight car except the gas tank and the hood(no sun roof). we ran it on slicks... then the last run we ran it on normal $100/each street tires.. and she did 10.8 sec@134mph. we had problems with the shifter.... didnt want to go in 2nd some of the time.. very notchy... so my tuner said he needs to extend the shifter... the other problem was that we would spin all thru 1st gear up to 9K RPMs.... otherwise not one misfire... I drove the car there and back. Sorry for the F words in the video.
Best MPH was 139.27. This is a 2 liter motor. ENJOY
10.2 sec. pass: http://www.djmarkski.com/evo 8/10_2-...D 1.85Mbps.mpg
10.8 sec pass on street tires(won the race): http://www.djmarkski.com/evo 8/10.8secstreettires.mpg
here is a video of the insides(full weight) no gutting: http://www.djmarkski.com/evo 8/interior.mpg
This video is our other friends car also built by Adam(devo tuning)...also a street car driven to the track... and he is on street tires: 10.4sec@142mph this run:http://www.djmarkski.com/evo 8/jusef.mpg
The slips.....(they cut it in Half so u dont see what the other guys ran)

Thanks Scott. we have to fix a few bugs... and in 1 month we are back... they have these real street drag days and they let us slide on the rules(we have no cage). We might rebuild the tranny and put in new synch rolls and get a longer shifter.. didnt want to go into 2nd all the time.... The record for a 2 liter evo 8 on a gt35r turbo is 9.97 sec.... tahst our goal.. and with a 139 mph we can do it... just the dam launch is messing with us...
