Anyone tried the cargraphic intercooler?
Just wanted to collect some info about intercoolers....
I saw an intercooler set for TT/GT2 from cargraphic on their website.
Has anyone tried them on? Is there any performance I can achieve from
IC's on a stock motor??? Thanks in advance.

CS17,
Those intercoolers are made by RS Tuning in Germany. They are much better than stock, but are extremely over priced. Not sure of the 40% reduction in Intake temperature. Aftermarket intercoolers tend to give you more consistent performance for a much longer time on wide open throttle. Evolution Motorsports will be comming out with their own intercoolers soon. They have put so much flowbench ours finding the best endtank configuration. I would wait for some time, before purchasing any intercooler.

Does anyone know what evoms will charge for their 3.5" intercoolers?? I know of another company which will be coming out with these intercoolers with a one piece tank design (not multiple piece tank welding); i believe the one piece tank design will have better flow as it is made from a mold and does not have corners like the ones i've seen on this site. I think it will be approx. 2.5k for these 3.5" coolers.

My ICs were designed by Todd Knighton who is a master of Air flow...( I had them fabbed locally)... The whole intercooler project cost me $2200 and its going on a 900 rwhp P-car.
Todd won the 2004 shootout for a reason(AIR FLOW AIR FLOW AND ONCE AGAIN.. AIR FLOW)...
I also have my evo 8(street car that ran 10.2sec 1/4 mile recently).. and that car is ALL about major AIR FLOW.
Someone who make ICs and manifolds for a living should know very well how to design and make them... just from shear experience...
My Friend Albert who made my end tanks just became an engineer for TIAL USA INC.
this is strictly my opinion...

i am sure the ones you have performs great but i think in terms of design and quality, a 1 piece cast aluminium tanks would be better as there will be fewer corners compared to the welding joints. The 996tt intercoolers which i have seen on this site are all with multiple piece welded tanks and this is actually the cheaper way to produce them as to cast-aluminum 1 piece tanks as that requires making a mold; which mold cost alot. The only other ones i have seen that has a 1 piece tank design are the ones made by rs-tuning which in my opinion are the best way to go. The ones i will be getting are from Blownsix Design which i believe will be advertised in Panorama and Excellence magazine in July.

i think the site is www.thespeedgallery.com
on their website they sell rs-tuning intercoolers which are the same ones which cargraphics sells; i believe cargraphics sells them for over 10k.
