What Do You Guys Think Of These Black TT Wheels?

BTW, tonight I was in a turn 1 condo for pole night in Charlotte for Sunday's Coca Cola 600. What a great time. We also went right down next to the track where no public was allowed and got some great video. We love our Porsche's but what a rush feeling these Nascar's flying by less than 10' away at 190mph. Even when they shut down the engine after the final qualifying lap and coast by at 175, the sound of the wind going over the car up close is awesome.
We're going to the World Premiere of the movie CARS at Lowe's Motor Speedway tomorrow. All of the actors / voices of the cars will be there ... should be fun. The movie hits theaters on 6/9.
Have a great weekend ... Craig

Z ... I'll measure them tomorrow. I have two different sets of tires on these rims, a set of P-Zero's (currently on the black rims) and some Michellin's on the chrome / silver rims. The Michellin's are actually slightly larger ... but I'll take a measurement tomorrow to get the exact width of each.

I personally like glossy black better, but I just love the aggressive look of black rims on a silver car. Btw, Those duals in the rear must make for great traction, but I imagine dual wheels in front probably wreaks havoc on the wheel wells.

I've had black wheels on a track car, and they were the best. Clean up easily, don't show brake dust, dirt, etc. Just very easy to live with, so functionally I give 'em a big thumbs up.
For style, I'd say they look a little too low key (when they're all black, including centers and rims). It's like a factory prototype look, when they don't want you to see any detail when the car drives by or is photographed.
But, put black wheels on a medium or light-colored car and it looks like track time, very sinister and powerful. It's kind of a "dressy" VS "tough" look IMO. Ideally, I'd want both for different situations.
