Craig,

You might think about some insulation around that "Y" pipe.

EVOMS offers performance levels exceeding that offered by Ruf.

Craig,
I wasn't aware that Gemballa offered an enlarged turbo intake plumbing kit. Can you PM me the details? Price?
This project of yours is off the hook. Keep up the great work and journalism!
Best regards,
Ken

The current estimate is the end of this week (Fri/Sat). As you are fully aware, projects of this nature do not simply involve bolting in kit components, and the custom configuration has taken longer than expected to finalize.

Ken,

Thanks for your kind words. For 6speed owners, there are several different turbo intake plumping kits available, including those offered by EVOMS, IA and SCARGO. However, there are only two that I am aware of that fit Tips . . the FVD unit and the Gemballa product. The Gemballa unit has a larger interior diameter than the FVD unit (as confirmed by IA), but is also more expensive. I do not recall exactly what I paid for my Gemballa unit . . . I think it was around $2600. I initially got a quote from Gemballa USA (Heinz) of $3500. I then contacted Gemballa in Germany and they offered the unit to me for approx $2600. Heinz ultimately agreed to match the price from Germany, and I got it from him.

Craig
