any of you guys ever spot Seinfeld on the road in a porsche and you being a porsche as well? I think I saw him this morning in a 959 in Tenafly NJ. I am not sure if he drives it, but I think it might of been him. He was a few cars ahead and I coudn't catch up with him.

I believe he resides in Manhattan and had bought Billy Joel's place out east. So Jerry, if you are here, why not share your collection with some fellow enthusiasts. We promise not to ask for your autograph, ask you how much $ you make in syndication, about the show or anything else that a "fan type" might do. I know Leno enjoys getting out amongst the regular car folk, so why not do the same with us (if you can call Porsche owners that). We would love to view interesting cars so contact me and I'll set it up with only mature, car-loving types. Thanks!

Seinfeld browses 6speed every night I'll bet.

I heard he bought a parking garage with attendants in Manhattan and parks his 14 911's there.

in all seriousness it would be foolish to think that there aren't at least a few celebrities that have browsed this forum and rennlist.

Jerry doesn't strike me as a terribly internet savvy type but i suppose it's possible.

Either way, you got to see a 959 on the street, that's not something that many people can say!

Apparantly Jerry occasionally goes to the Hershey (PA) Swapmeet. Met him there in 2000. Was very interesting. He was walking around just like everyone else with no one really bothering him for autographs and the like. Nice guy.

He has a large Porsche collection, which he used to store in airplane hangars at a private airport in southern California when he lived there. Now that he lives in NYC, he had a multi-story garage built for his collection (cost around $1.5M), which includes the first 911 built, the last air cooled 911 built, and a 550 spyder. He's also taking the first Carrera GT customer delivery. I remember on his show there would be Porsche posters on the walls of his apartment, and you'd occasionally see him with a copy of Excellence magazine.

Is that just a photo shoot or does he have both a silver and a red CGT?

He has the first customer Carrera GT on order. This was a photoshoot for automobile magazine. i guess Porsche invited him to drive the car-publicity stunt as usual

If you look at the plates you can identify them as press cars ...S GO 612 and S GO 4XX are used.
