Hauling a Trailer with a 911TT

I want to tow a small "track tires" trailer with the 996TT. Anyone ever made a customer bracket or something similar ? How about the wiring ? Would be grateful if you can share your experience.

Thanks

I dont do it but many 996's at my track have the setup you are talking about. The rear bumperettes come off and the bracket goes there and when you take them off it is even drilled and set up for a hitch and lights. One of my friends has that set up I'll try to get some details for you but it is out there!!

Check with EvoMS. There was a post on Renntech that they used to make one.

I'm sure its possible, while we were in Italy we saw Boxster and this CLS towing a 20 foot travel trailer.

Thanks guys... If anyone has more detailed pictures of it ona 996, let me know. Here in Montreal, not a lot of shops are specialized in that.

I think this is what you are looking for....

http://www.willwoodsystem.com/

Another option is to get the OEM roof transport system and put 2-3 tires on it and the fourth inside the car - I think it's only rated for 125 lbs.
