There is no doubt that the 997TT will have incredible throttle response and low end torque that no 996 can match.
The bottom line is in a drag race a modded 996 will have a good chance.
Take out on a tight track or a nice mountain road and the turbo lag on the 996 will have you pulling your hair out coming out of corners...
