996 Turbo aftermarket clutch options?

Clutch Kit Recommendations
I will be doing a clutch job on my 2001 996TT in the near future. I would appreciate touching base with you prior to ordering parts. I am on the fence on what parts to order along with the clutch kit. Thank you for your time.
Thanks,

Holy necrobump! Thread is over 14 years old man, and the user you quoted hasn't posted in 3 years. Probably unlikely you'll get a response.
That said, there are plenty of resources on here for clutch kit recommendations. First we would need to know what your plans are for the car. Is it stock power wise? Will it remain that way? If so, the OEM setup is probably your best bet. If you are making more power than stock or are planning to in the future the Sachs "2.5" setup is the gold standard.

Clutch Kit Recommendations
As you can tell I am a newbie here. The Sach clutch 2.5 kit sounds good along with a new lightweight flywheel. Do you recommend the lightweight flywheel from Sach or the stock flywheel set up?
The car currently has a tune from Softtronic and a Soul exhaust without cats. The tuner claims the car is putting out 520bph and 540 ft/lbs of torque. I have installed all new Forge boost hoses along with new diverter valves. Down the road I may wish to install new turbos but for now she puts a huge smile on my face when I drive the car.
Thank you for your advice. I am shooting in the dark here, lol.

what is referred colloquially as the 2.5 kit would be more than adequate for any "bolt on" modded car. i am easy on my clutches with the last one lasting 100k miles and that was with previous periodic abuse and occasional tracking by the PO so i stayed with oem with the gt2 disc.
when i replaced mine at 95k +/- miles i opted for the oem sachs and only upgraded from the sprung disc to the unsprung 996 gt2 disc which will handle more banging around than the "sprung" 96t disc. my dmfw was replaced as i didn't want chatter at idle or any inconsistency in clutch action for the street. but given i'm never in "traffic" any longer, and having driven enough properly set-up lwfw cars. i would go that route for the quicker and more freewheeling rpm's.
my car is bolt on modded and tweaked to a sweet spot of 475 +/- whp. the oem sachs will handle that all day long. even without adding the 764 pp of the 2.5 kit.
