In all other gears the car definitely hits a 6500 limiter. I gave GIAC stage 3 (K24 program). Is a 7000 rpm limiter an option I can ask for?
I have FVD ecu that redlines at 7000-7200.. When i shift at 7k it tends to overrev a bit to 7100 and never bounces off redline either, this is part of what makes me love the car, im use to high revving cars!

BTW on any of my runs, they are always from a steady speed then hitting it, you get more lag but it hought that's true measure of your cars power/performance!!

Here is a video of me from 40-100, steady and did it in 5.x seconds!

The elevation really matters (although the turbos compensate some). You'd probably be a second faster as sea level.

BTW, a stopwatch/speedo test could be off a few seconds. The different reaction time of your finger could add .5 seconds or so and the speedo could be off 10 MPH. Your actual time may be closer to 12 seconds, especially at 7500 ft.

Im sorry, now what's your redline also? 6500 or 7k, if so that would explain my 140 at 4th gear redline.

Also your plugs might be shot with hesitation under full boost, happened to me, when i got new ones it was a night and day difference. Car will be alot smoother and pull harder!

Yeah, I knew it was pretty inaccurate. I just wanted a rough idea of how my car compares.
It would be interesting if we could get an ax-22 as a loaner from someone and ship it along from member to member and compile a bunch of data. Each person could pay the shipping to the next member. What do you think??
Maybe we could set up an archive with the data.

Here's the much anticipated 60 to 130 for a CGT thanks to Fayence. This is about 9 seconds because our fastest run was a bit shy of 130.

I think with one person, faster shifts and a less bumpy road, we may have gotten closer to 8 seconds. I'm not sure if we could have gotten low 7s, like Car & Driver Magazine did.

Ok make's sense. Yea i think Giac is conservative on their tuning not upping the redline, one of the best feature's to me though, love having a higher redline!
