do GT3 seats slide forward and back still?
GT3 seats come with the sliders. They are able to slide forward and back with the Porsche tech equip rollbar. The driver side goes back farther than the passenger due to the diagonal cross member. Only one on the TE bar. There are two on the Das Sport, so I don't know if the driver side is restricted on how far it can slide back....as compared to the TE bar

I feel that the driver side goes about about another 2" compared to the stock sport seats I had before. The dassport bar does not interfere with seat travel at all...both sides go back as far as the seat rails will them them. With at least 4" of clearance toward the top tapering down toward the bottom.

I have a DAS bar installed with GT-3 seats and Schroth 6 point harnesses on my 996TT. I think that the DAS bar is superior to the TE bar as it mounts to the rear shock towers where the TE bolts to the rear seat back bolt holes. The DAS works fine with GT-3 seats but stock seats cannot go back far enough as the backs hit the bar. You can powder coat the DAS bar and it looks great.

If I remember correctly, it all depends on the how far you tilt your seat back. If you keep it fairly upright, the seat will travel as far as the rails will take it???

Is that correct retsel75? I only had das with stock seats for like a week...so I might not remember all that well.

The stock seat back is much thicker than a GT-3 seat and when back it hits the roll bar. I am 5'-10" and it forces the seat too far forward for the street. The GT-3 being thinner allows plenty of adjustments
