Thanks man, DJ just surprises people with new avatar's whenever he feels like it

Vince i think i would agree! After driving a GT2 the car is insane, i have not driven a Gallardo yet but will soon, then will tell my quick comparison of both!

How about a slightly modded 996TT vs. a Gallardo?

There was a video of a stg 2 996tt pulling HARD from a gallardo, it was on 6speed a while back!

From my POV, no contest!

allanlambo is infamous around these parts
Hmm judging by the timeslips the stage 2 just ran in another thread on here, I cant see it pulling hard from a Gallardo.

His car has blown spark plugs and problems, not to mention over a 2.0 60 foot! Believe me, i love Gallardo's and it will be my next car most likely, but its no contest what so ever, especially because of the cars i have raced and kept up a good pace with, if not in front then they pull top end (a la supercharged rt10 viper 738rwhp) which i lost to by 1 cl to 160, 3 runs (2nd, 3rd, 4th gear pulls). Owner is a friend and an avid poster on viperforum's... A bunch of Porsche and Viper guys were shocked, at least my car runs hard, but i havent ran or driven any other stg 2's!

Dont forget, in the hands of a good driver, they pull great times on the strip, even more impressive on the highway

Sorry, but having owned, and driven very high performance Pcars, a stage 2 is not all that fast. If you compare the cars, stock to stock, both the Gcar, and the 996TT are close in weight. According to this board, stock 996TT's dyno right around 350rwhp, one I read was as low as 330rwhp. Stock early Gcar will dyno right around 400rwhp. Car here in AZ with exhaust dynoed 400 AWD Hp, most likely somewhere around 435-440rwhp.

If your stage 2 is beating 740rwhp Vipers, they need to learn how to drive, or their car isnt getting any traction, because a 740rwhp Viper is EASILY a 135+mph car.

The other guy who ran his car is right inline with what a stage 2 should be at, he may be able to click off a better ET, but his MPH is right inline.

Viper beat me by a CL each time and this was before my new MAF sensor and evo v flow intake/rwd conversion, no traction issues from a 3rd and 4th gear roll, and hes well known and has the dyno sheets, videos and so on!

A stock 996tt non x50 pulls anywhere from an 11.9-12.1 SLOWEST, so no it isnt in line with a stg 2. Scott Divextreme pulled an 11.6 on 19" hre's, i bet with him driving my car it would pull the same time, my car is very fast for what it has done, i have no need to make it up, im up for any challenge.

Even in the acceleration time comparo threads, people are saying my cars very very fast! 40-100 in 5 seconds and 60-130 in 9!

BTW like i said, the guy who ran, RW said he has hesitation under full boost (spark plugs blown) and if you see his dyno's there's a major dip in power, his car would run WAYYYYYYYYYYYY faster in its optimal form!

It is not the ET that matters, it is the mph.

You must be lucky, you have the worlds fastest stage 2, outperforms everyone elses stage 5's.

A real 740rwhp Viper, will destroy a stage 2, not by one car lenth, but by MANY buslengths.

Who know's, since no NE/NY guys like to drive or run i cannot even compare. How about this, set something up with any lambo guy from NY or anyone and i'll do a comparo for you, i put up the offer

I have no need to talk **** what so ever, so what you say doesnt phase me because its all true. He put down 738RWHP 11psi ROE supercharge, water/meth injection, B+B exhaust no cats, 800hp half shafts and so on. Its an RT10 not a GTS, thing is very quick and his license plate is even 800 hp, he has the dyno to prove it !

BTW i'll outrun your whole lineup with no prob

You are too quick at the mouth, my Sv would ruin you. Shame its no longer around.

And Ive run around with stage 1 and 2 996TT's in my Murci, cars with exhaust, headers, chip, filters, go nowhere. They are members on this board. My Murci was BONE stock.

Again, I am talking about an 06+ not 04, and driver skills plays a large part. Im first to say, I love Lambo, but most Lambo owners cant drive for ****.

Take a look at Rob Ferretti, someone who is willing to run his Gallardo to the fullest, knows what gear to be in, etc. Then look how well his car ran against his buddies new Z06 which subsequentley turned a 126mph 1/4.

Robs car is an 04 egear also.

That Gallardo will hurt a Stage 2 TT.
