I guess the best thing would be if someone with an AX-22 run their car from 60 to 130mph in AWD mode and run it again with the in 2wd mode. This test would anwser all the question regarding this mods worth as far as straight line acceleration. Have to admit this will be my next mod if I continue in my mods quest Thank you guys for sharing your experiences.

am really at odds to remove front wheel drive or not. get bunches of rear wheel spin with psm off in all wheel . have driven the car without the shaft in after a dyno test, it was a handful.. the allwheel is a comfort when i'm a little hot coming into a turn. drove a 86t for years with no probs but the twin has way more poneys please post in a week or so let us know the long term stuff thanks

My car is more stable with Michelins in RWD than it was on Pirellis in AWD. I get almost no spin with 600HP.

My car spins, but i can carry so far almost the same speed cornering and out with it being RWD and psm off, its about knowing your car and experimenting, also overcoming your FEAR allowing yout o push the cars real capability. This is of course more for the track though then learning on twisty public roads

Man, it is really great to read what fun you guys are having with the TT's!
Now with wheel carrier swaps, LSD's, serious suspension and a little wider rubber and there are going to be some serious GT2-chasers running around.

Thanks for sharing with us. Can you explain more in depth the part that is involving the "sub" or "stub" axel and what must be done ? By the way, when you guys mentionned about that axel, it's the axel that connects the two rear wheels to the tranny right ?
Thanks
