Put it another way, I find myself not having to give the car as much gas as I did in the Turbo to get it to the same speed. The less gas consumption was also a good selling point to my wife. That and the stiffer grabbier clutch on the GT2.
I agree with that statement. My car is getting about 1mpg more than it used to for the reasons outline above. It doesnt take as much gas to get the car up to speed like it did before. It feels noticably quicker and the steering response has also improved. Overall, I'm very happy!

Any downsides that youve realized yet? Does it feel too light up front? How about launches from a stop? I keep hearing that wheel hop isnt quite as bad?

My tech advisor at the dealer told me the TT is equipped with "viscous coupler" or something like that and that by doing the RWD conversion, it will burn it in a short period of time....

I am almost sure that he is talking about the 993TT...

But even that, Viper Bob sells RWD conversion kit and AFAIK, no one has burned up their 993TT's either.

Well, being that my car is Stage 2...it breaks loose a little bit. The doesnt feel too light up front at all, I think it slightly reduced the understeer. I havent launched it really hard yet so I dont know, but the 1500-2000rpm launches were with no wheel hop.

well thie viscous thing is all B.S.. lets see two of my japaness cars the skyline and 240 came with the viscous diff... now after about 500hp they say to just dump it and get a 1.5 way diff.. but honestly if you want to keep the diff alive then do the following... Get a diff cooler and also change the oil out of the diff ever 3k miles...

Hey also what are the cons of doing this... I mean all i gotta do is drop my drive shaft and there we go? If so i am doing it tommorw when i get my baby back...

Hey Marksi... ur lucky u got only one cop on ur street...The first time i came home with the Skyline at 3 am i woke up almost my entire neightborhood.. I got a note in the mail the following day from EVERYONE saying if i dont stop being so loud that actions would be takin against me... so you know what.. NOW I COME HOME EVEN LOUDERED AND FASTER... One night i almost hit a guy walking his 5 year old son on his bike.. at 2am.. The dad was like hey u know kids live around here... I responed..
"Sure but i didnt know we had crack heads like you walking them at 2am.." LOL

your right he came out with a gun my came out with crack...but like two days later that crack head started shooting at my house cause he thought someone was outside his 3rd level window trying to break in...remind you there was no balcony to the window he shot at.... The cops came and took the following items away... One CREATE of LIVE GRENADES, 2 Russian made old skool AK-47, a set of nickle plated 1911 45's, 2 shotguns, and 2 more other machine guns one looked like it may have been an AR15 but they carried it in a blanket out...

So yeah I feel you... I totally feel you... Now i go a different way home..LOL
