Haha. Wife and two kids here and the A4 seems roomy enough. The Escalade is just TOO big for the streets of Athens!

Alex, are you serious? I really like what I've read about the new GT3. I'm thinking about putting a deposit down for an 08 standard edition GT3. Either white, yellow or cobalt blue. I'd take delivery NEXT fall. I think by then I'll be ready for a new toy. Of course I'm keeping my turbo. I just want a NA P-car.

I have NO envy either. I think that we can give a lot of the thanks to the good folks at Porsche for this. It seems that they make each model run its own character with its own personality. Unlike most of the Benzes, these cars are instant classics. I've met many 993 owners who wouldn't trade their cars for a 996 or 997, you don't find that very often in other marques; German, Italian and American included.

Explains the high resale value of 993TTs, 930Ts etc as well!

I think that 996s will retain relatively high resale compared to other brands as well

Me too. Saw the black one at Beverly Hills and wasn't that impressed by it's appearance. If you lowered it and put on 20"s it would look hot. I'm sure it will grow on me.

I just don't think the design of the 997 tt does anything for me. I wish Porsche made the 997 tt look like the RUF Rt12, now that is hot looking. Even the 997 GT3 is a ton better looking than the 997 tt to me.

To each there own, of course I have yet to see one in person. Could change my mind.

I'm keeping my 996tt and also keeping that extra 60k in the bank for more mods!

I am on the list for a 997TT, but I plan to pass. I am enjoying my 996TT too much. No reason to change.

I saw a 997TT at the dealer last week and it just didn't excite me, either.
