Great story. One question. Did you actually have to go back to texas for your court appearence? I have allways wondered if i got pulled over like say doing the AKA Rally or something and i got pulled somewhere in the states and they set a court date, is there anyway to deal with them from home or do i have to travel back regardless for a hearing?

If I had been alone they could have seized my car because it was used to commit a felony. That would have sucked major. It also was a 2 year jail term if the State didn't work out a plea deal with me, so they don't mess around in Texas. As it was it cost me around $13,000.00 including legal fees, 120 hours of community service and 1 year on probation.

Don't run pull over and get your ticket, much easier!

Buddy,

I look forward to meeting the legend some day! Since you say you will probably never sell your 996TT and I'm thinking the same thing...chances are we will eventually meet up at some sort of porsche event.
