ROW Suspension Question

ROW Suspension Question
My 02TT came with the ROW suspension, but it is not low enough for my liking. I have had PSS9's on some of my other cars and some with just spring replacement.
Question is- has anyone swapped out springs on the ROW and if so what were the results?
Anyone with ROW please post pics, i have a feeling mine seems high because of the 19" wheel/tire combo.
Thanks

MAN UP AND BUY OHLINS...hell Ruf uses them to make their 17k dollar suspension kit... JIC is a good system as well... i am gonna go forr Ohlins and i SWEAR to god if no one knows of ohlins i am jumping from a bridge...as Speed Gallery here in LA looked at me like Ohlins...whos that? I was like your joking right

X73 and be done with it, will outrun 90% of aftermarket suspensions out there. It's porsche's competition suspension for the TT/C4S, pss9 is a soft street suspension in comparison, imo.
The x73 lowers the car 30mm. RoW springs without RoW shocks is a bad idea, will bottom out the shocks. RoW will lower the car 10-20mm.

I have the new Cross JIC suspension that I purchased from ORTON PERFORMANCE, and it completely transformed my car!!!
I set the Height at the exact same height as the X-73 settings and the
soft/hard on the middle of 15 settings. Nice, but firm street ride (I run 19's
on the street).
Track impressions: UNBELEIVABLE transformation of the car!!!!
Brainerd Intl Speedway: very, very fast track;
stock suspension 2 months ago; long straight indicated speed == 152-154 mph.
JIC suspension (on very conservative settings I might add):
long straight indicated speed == 160 - 163 !!!! holy ****, exit speed from
the last turn makes a huge differnce on how much speed you can carry !!!
this is on street tires (S02-A). This speed carries through the first three
turns and the suspension gives one the confidence to do it.
Suspension height makes a difference but a great suspension at almost
any height makes more of a difference.
I would suggest Cross JIC www.ortonperformance.com or
the Motons if you are a bonafide track junky, and want to fiddle with the
settings all the time. the PSS9's are "very average" but a good improvement
to stock.

I think Marty's experience sums it up, bang for the buck for a high performance suspension I would also recommend JIC from what guys at our track run. Motons are really for full race cars IMO.

Adam, my JIC installation/corner balancing will be complete today. Car will be set at GT3 ride height. I'll let you know how it feels later today.
