997 Carbon Shifter for the 996

We just installed a 997 Carbon shifter **** on a 996 leather boot with horse shoe.

A 997GT3 shifter was also modified for the 996 as well.

What do you think of it?

We make it so it becomes plug and play.
Too bad that the 997 carbon shifters and handbrakes are far more expensive than the 996/993 versions :-(
This is the 997 carbon shifter for the 996 :

Steve...I think...if I recall some have a set screw...some do not (can't remember the differences), but I also remember you have to pull really hard to get the shifter off. Damn this old age.
