Hi,

I need to unmount my 19" Iforged to get the 4"lip repolished. Is there any special attention I should take car of when undoing the many mant many bolts that retain the wheels (2 or 3 pieces) together ?? Also, what are the steps to remount the piece once the polish is done ?

my friends have done this themselves several times...
1. Take out air pressure!!!(very important)
2. Spray wd40 on the nuts.
3. Then Unbolt all bolts and nuts.

But i actually havent seen them put them back together.
This only works for three piece wheels.

 

Sorry bro...you CANNOT take apart your 2 pc Iforged wheels...The centers are welded to the outer barrel..The bolts are there for looks only...

 

if they are 3 piece, why not take them to a shop that will take them apart, redo the lip, and put them back together for you?
