[quote=Phoenix]vincentdds,
I had a chance to ask Ruf Auto Centre that exact same question.
The answer......
It costs about $85,000-$90,000. For comparison's sake the 590 package costs $70,000. According to Ruf Auto Centre the 650 motor would take around 10-12 weeks to be completed. Of course the motor has to be shipped to Germany as you know already.[/quote
Thanks Phoenix.
3.8L sounds delicious.Do you know if the specs are teh same as that of the RT-12?

Marcus, I don't know the owner of the M3 but i do know the owner of the 240SX and he would never make a comment like that, he's a cool, down to earth enthusiast.

The car is finally done! (except for axles and new Y-pipe) We put it on the dyno today. The intake temp. on the pulls was 99f
The car made 631hp and 646tq (I'll get the print out and post it tomorrow) My TT made 641/641 with an intake temp of 61f in January. Can't wait to see what it runs on Friday at the strip (the temp is supposed to be 113f)
Edited to add: These pulls were done on a DynoJet with no correction factor
