Cobra vs Turbo
Hey you guys so i am going to go into this blind i think...I own a Turbo S... have the intake, valves, stage 2 sachs clutch and 12lbs flywheel, exhaust and reprogrammed ECu... My boys got an 04 Cobra...Nothing but bolt ons...upgraded pulley, exhaust, and everything you can bolt on but NO internals of any kinda...
I hate to ask but who do you think will win in a quater race or freeway pull from 50 or 60...This kid and i are huge Enemies of each other and wants to race for pinks... I laughed as my car is worth TONS more but he is willing to run for his pink and cash from me for his cars worth... I am down i dont care... I would take his car and donate to some foundation... BUT I WANT TO WIN... if there is anything i need to do let me know... tHANKS YALL>

I have beaten several modfied Cobras, including one with more than bolt-ons and over 600 rwhp.

Its insanely easy to port the stock Eaton blower, or "bolt on" a Kenne Bell 2.4L roots blower, and n2o. There are several up here in the Twin Cities that are running 10 sec 1/4 miles at 130+ with that setup.
If his blower is black, be wary.

My 03 cobra, with ported blower (mild port), 2.8" upper pulley, generic tune, no mufflers. Full tank of gas and a 180lb passenger filming was dead even with LSM 05 Turbo S with exhaust. Remember the Cobra is heavy. My cobra did 501rwhp and 484 rwtq
Make sure you know what kind of pulley combos (upper lower) ported blower or not, race gas or not. Like with the TTs there are many combos......

sorry i have diverter valves.... i never knew those things made such a huge difference... I have a custom made tunning job...cant really say by who yet as we are in the process of upgrading the car to fit a set of gt35r's on the little turbo...
I wouldnt do pinks..Not worth it...Well really i dont know if he is a kid he is my age and i am 24...so yeah... i figure most of you guys call us young 20year old kids...lol...
As for what he has... I know he has full exhaust. I dont know if he has mufflers or cats... i am sure one of those two has been removed...He has up graded both the pulleys... I am sure the supercharger is stock... but it might have been ported...but nothing intense...he also has intake, and some other stuff...
I figure a Turbo S cab runs a high 11's low 12's stock... I figure since i did the intake, exhaust, valves, flywheel and clutch just that alone should put me in the mid to high 11's and if i do the tunning right this week it should be even in the mid 11's i think...
Also what does LSM 05 Turbo mean?
