There's been a lot of talk about racing fuel lately so I thought this would be a good thread to resurrect. Unfortunately when gas prices skyrocketed the last 2-2 1/2 years, so did the price of Racing gas. When the gas prices came down, unfortunately the price of racing gas did not. So the prices that are listed have probably gone up quite a bit. To give you an indicator, I just called the station that I normally go to in Brentwood and for 100 octane it costs $8.69/gallon. Then I called the 76 in Westchester, they've got 104 octane for $9.XX/gallon and for 112 octane, it was $10.87/gallon. Playing with Race Gas is not cheap, that's why I only use it once in a while. Thank god, I have that option, but for those of you with big HP engines that can only use race gas...Well, I hope your other car's a hybrid to offset how much you spend for gas in your P-car! lol
