Boxter Red Leather?

I'm still in the search for a 996TT and came across one that was Silver with Boxter Red leather. I never seen a boxter red leather or heard of it and was wondering how it actually looked in person? From the pics it looked almost brownish red. I've tried searching and came up with no other pics. Any input would help. Thanx.

I don't have boxter red but looked to buy one when I was buying my car. I think it looks real hot. It is kind of darker/brownish and tends to fade from the sun quicker than other colors. But if you find one w/out sun fade I think it is real sharp. The few I did look at were faded though. You can tell by pulling up one of the floor mats, etc.

Thanx for the input so far. Is it really noticablly red or is the pic that I saw pretty accurate showing a more of brownish. Here's the link if it helps http://www.dontdrivejunk.com/details...1-2l1152292726. Thanx again.

before the TT I had a silver cab with the boxster red interior. It was definitely RED - I thought it looked very classic.

The red/silver combination is an old tradition with Porsche. I think most if not all of the iconic 550 Spyders were red/silver. I nearly bought one when I was searching for a 996TT in 2001, funny to think how available these cars are now compared to then....anyway as I recollect the red was more of a "brick red" if that analogy can be used, that is there was a little brown to the red...

It's a Brownish-Red definitly. My '02 targa used to be Meridian/Boxster Red. Got many compliments on it.

Everyone's input so far has been great. From what I've been gathering it sounds like it's the perfect type of red I was looking for. I will probably check the car out to see if it now has too much red. In the mean time I would love to get more input on the color. Thanx.

WOW laj_ your car is really beautiful. I love the black and CF accent. Too bad the one that I'm looking at doesn't have the same black carpet as yours or any other black to offset the red a little bit. Thanx for the pics.
