Here is the Griots Garage tan epoxy painted floor, halogen track lighting, oak paneling w/ chair rail, framed Porsche posters and bits and pieces of 911 memorabilia (previously owned)....

The self winding power, lighting and switched compressed air reels and the adjustable height detailing stool are extremely convenient accessories.....

Another view.....

Thanks 79 911SC,

I guess I was a little late to the party. The last picture you posted is interesting with the old 911 in the background and new 911 front and center.

RDH,

No rules....just clean as required, about once a week. It cleans very easily with 409 and one of those flat disposable wipes type mops. The paint has a glass like finsh and the dirt wipes right off. Takes less than 5 minutes to achive a mirror shine. Also, no chipping or peeling at all with the Griots paint. I had another epoxy paint previously that was very sensitive and peeled terribly.

Sloth,
I was wondering about that tire padding as well. What is it?
Just left over berber carpet from when I redid my house. I wanted a set of the tire cradles, but they cost more than I felt they were worth. So the carpet is my attempt to help prevent flat spots.

I do think it helps as I just found out upon my return from a 3 week trip. The Lexus (no carpet pads) had some mild flatspots that had since worked themselves out, in comparison the Porsche was much smoother.

I have always appreciated John's garage from previous photos. It is certainly the cleanest, least cluttered, most finished room I have seen BUT, I still like Periokid's garage. It has a certain technical Formula One look to it. I like that.
