Racing Shoes... any recommendations ?

If you really want a superior track shoe, look at these. They are amazing.

They are superlight. Super thin sole for outstanding feel, but stiff enough so minor pedal deflection. Good side foot wrap for proper heel/toe and damn comfortable.
I have Piloti's - OK and many others, and the Diadora's are vastly superior.

I have (3) pair of Adidas--not too geeky and are very comfortable.
Piloti is my other choice (they have about (20) different kinds depending
on how much walking standing you want to do in them.

I always liked a basic soft soled moccasin such as the one at http://www.minnetonka-by-internet.co...ringedBoot.htm
Much more feel than most of the so-called driving shoes AND a bit easier for bigfooted folks to work the pedals

being the race ***** I am I really like alpinestar. But if you don't plan on doing any extensive track events they are probably a bit overkill.
