You know, Ben, maybe I could help justify the price tag if I just bought a CGT for my daily driver, and got rid of a bunch of cars!
It would be nice to just drive it and not worry about it. To the grocery store, to the gym, to the bank, to work, to play golf, etc.
Just use it up and spit it out. 15,000 miles per year! Get rid of it when the warranty is about to expire!

My father also talked with a dealer who wanted $50,000 deposit in an interest bearing account with the rest due upon delivery. He mulled over it for a few weeks and when he went back to the dealer they changed their story and wanted some rediculous price with a 2005/6 delivery date!

I have two friends who are getting them. To be honest, I really liked what I saw when I saw the car in person, but I am worried they are making too many, for too much $$, and that the styling, while it looks great now, may not end up being as timeless as I had hoped. I just think if you wait you might be able to save a lot of $$ and pick-up a low milage one... Remember the GT2? Ouch, I do.
I say wait a few years, then buy one cheaper and keep it forever

I agree, 1500 cars is not exactly "limited edition"....
