Guys,
ttboost beat his previous best 1/4 mile time of 11.54 @ 129.4 with a 11.41 @ 129.68. Short time on that run was a 1.978.
Great job, Mike!

Mike, great run and it looks like you were making a solid 510-525AWHP with that trap speed and weight. Which brings me to my point, how is a car that does the 60-130 in a scorching 6.2 sec only trap 129 at the track? Back in the old days when I had lowly K16/24s,exhaust and a tune I was getting consistent 11.5s at 128+ with a full weight car such as yours yet my 60-130 was 1.7 secs slower!! That would equate to damn near a football field in distance between the two 60-130 times. I was putting down 512/565 AWHP on my local Mustang here in MI so I know that my traps were in line with my HP and 60-130s. I would guess with a 60-130 as low as 6.2 you should be trapping easy mid 130s, maybe high 130s..... Even taking in to consideration the variations in tracks, temp etc I am wondering how a car that traps with low 500HP range, and has 60-130s in the low 600hp range can be the same car? Certainly not trying to poke you just wondering if I am missing something here....

I have my own doubts too!!! I've never gotten a good clean pass in this car. I seems to always have some sort of traction issues. So I bought some (used) drag radials and witnesses told me I was screaching my tires all the way to the 1000ft mark. So the next time I have this car at the track, I will have new drag radials AND a dual mass flywheel so I can actually launch it. Incidentally, Wednesday night when got home from the track, I went out real quick and ran a 6.38., spinning.....go figure...

Thanks. I thought I might run more MPH, but it seems that will never happen at the Valley on pump gas. The weather station had us at 2700ft that night. I notice your MPH is similar to mine. Do you normally run in the 128-132 range? As KPG noted my 60-130's are not indicative of my trap speeds or my whp (585ish). I do keep a spreadsheet of all my 60-130 runs and they are sometimes sporatic, although mostly in the mid 6's. Palette, have you run any 60-130's yet?
