I really really hope I can push the envelope a bit more on the flash side as it really is a "mild" tune with pump gas and maybe get a sub 7 run...
Then it will be time for an upgrade to the VTG's I think ...

It felt good for these virtually no cost (that is a first for a Porsche) mods to be able to run these times...

Nevertheless the feeling you have in your car running the numbers that you run is PRICELESS I must admit...

A friend here has a similiar HP level 9ff powered 997 and I has taken me for a ride... It literally takes my breath away - esp from 200-300km/h!

Big thanks Guys I would have liked to try and run it some more but then again this is not my engine and I did not want to push my luck at this track. They are just starting to loosen up a bit on the NHRA rules and I did not want to ruin it for next time I bring the car out. The engine will be removed Monday and on a plane headed for Bahrain so it can be enjoyed by another 6-speed member when it is installed in his 997TT We are still working on the 4.0L which will be installed in my car soon. Thanks again Guys!

All I have to say is this: 111mph at 1/8 and 38mph more in the back, huge accomplishment. Great 60ft BTW Todd, nice driving. The owner is going to have his hands full with this one. Great job, Art.
