New 60-130 record! Underground Racing took Bob Helm's E-Gear TT Gallardo to a 3.04 with 1-shift at 1550+ rwhp! Peak G's were 2.375!

ya know, I just don't feel like posting my own times anymore. Seems so unimpressive now.
Just kidding, I'm still happy with my relatively pedestrian times but 3.04??? WOW!
Imho, anything under 10s or so feels pretty fast...

What is the appropriate compliment for that? I can see a sh*t load of GTR's for sale now though

Ha ha...of course that won't happen. GT-Rs are running 60-130s that are within 3/10ths of a second with 300 less whp, 200 lbs more weight, during 1/4 mile runs (which produce times that are almost always slower than during dedicated 60-30 runs). GT-Rs will continue to get more powerful and faster at an exponential rate.

Well then...

The peak G's on that 3.04 run are strange. No doubt it did the 3.04, but the G's looked to be reading incorrectly.

No problem with the peak G's. They occured after the shift. The tires were hot, they hooked, and launched the car forward. I've seen the same thing before with other cars. From 60-100 my GT-R was actually faster, but it was after the shift where the TTG was 'thrown' forward that it made up the time. The 100-130 time on that run was ridiculously fast.

IIRC, the VBox does not have internal accelerometers, instead calculates it based on GPS acceleration data.

I would like to see exponential increases but more realistically, 1-mile comparisons between the two monsters.

true that, i always noticed that on my car...

The more aggressive gearing is probably the biggest factor along with the DCT vs the single clutch. Possibly better aerodynamics a small factor (haven't compared surface area, only .cd). No mention of weight reduction on either models in general.
I would like to see exponential increases but more realistically, 1-mile comparisons between the two monsters.
