1swtride went 60-130 in 3.95 during his 8.7 @ 156 1/4 mile run. His car is a C6 Z06 with a RHS 427, Mast Motorsports Heads, ECS Supercharging System with a YSI Head unit. I believe it puts down 1080+ rwhp through an auto.
Great job, John!

Thanks for the props! I wish I could take credit for the driver skill part, but I can't. Doug Ring (co-owner of East Coast Supercharging and who helped build the car) is the one driving. I've never used a Powerglide, which was in the car for the LSX Shootout in Indy, and I did not want to make a fool out of myself in front of hundreds of racers and fans. I'm going to take a crack at learning the powerglide at the next track rental and, if the moon and stars align, maybe I'll get my very own 8 sec. slip. After that, the car will go back to a 6 speed.

Powerglide driving is easy!!!
Stage the car, activate 2nd bulb, hold Transbrake button and release and shift to high gear and hold on for a wild ride!
Congrats on the times! That thing is flying. I miss my old LSx based car (Was 4th or 5th n2o LSx motor in the 8's back in 05). Had a Powerglide in my car at the time.
