Question

For the record, other systems I've tried were:

1. Stock. I'm sure you've heard it.

2. Modified Stock: Slightly more powerful, sounds like stock, but definitely hurts power on a stage 4GT.

3. B&B: Has the resonance of the Fabspeed systems, is slightly quieter at the top end. It doesn't make much more power than stock.

4. Fabspeed loud: Very good power. But very, very loud. If I were buying a system for a track only car, I probably would go for this system as it sounds great and would be easier to hear through the helmet. On the other hand, on the street I am confident that it will damage your hearing over time. No joke. A 9 on the scale of 1-10 for loudness.

5. Fabspeed quiet: Much, much louder than the Europipe Loud system. More like an 8 on that 1-10 scale. Very annoying resonance from 2K - 2.6K RPM. Sounds pretty nice, although pretty darned loud, above 3K RPM. Strangely quiet at 2.8 - 3K RPM. Makes good power, maybe 8-10 less than the loud version.

6. Europipe stage 2 loud: Absolutely perfect for a street car in my opinion. No resonance. Nice low burble at idle. Sounds very exotic at WOT above 3K RPM. But not annoyinngly loud as with 4 of the other sytems I tried.

have you ever heard of RB Tech??

Our X-cellerator cross-flow design has a very GT3ish sound for a turbo car. It will never sound exactly the same as a NA GT3, but the cross-flow exhibits strong hints of the GT3 sound. It is available in a 3.0 loud (76mm) and 2.5 quiet (63.5mm)

I have the Roock Racing version of this exhaust, I love the way it sounds as well. Not exactly sure what the difference is in design or performance though except I've read the Roock is based off the Stage 1 not 2.
