Noobs... what do you expect when you start a run at 9 in the morning?
Cops knew you were coming and knew your start time... at least at 7am, they aren't too concerned, as there isn't much traffic.

I have to agree with Tyson here. Back in the day when I was doing Sat morning canyon runs on a regular basis, we started at 7 am, and we were eating breakfast by 9 am when the throngs of people began hitting the roads.

In my part of "Mexico", I go out with 1 or 2 other cars max and go early
to avoid even the earliest Mexican farmers. Good roads are harder and harder to find but they still exist. My part of Mexico has no mountains though, more rolling hills and countryside. We scare up cows, elk and flatten
an occasional raccoon...

One of the dangers of early morning runs in the canyons are the migrating deer! Almost had a close encounter a few times. Leaps across 20' veritcal walls out of no where. Right across the highway!
