All little food for thought...

GT2 comes standard with LSD. Cup cars have LSD as well.

ok, you say b/c its awd it doesn't need LSD. what about the subaru STi & mitsubishi EVO? they have 3 LSD's and manual torque split capability. i think even the 1st & 2nd generation mitsubishi AWD eclipses had rear LSD. i'm fairly certain the nissan skyline has 3 LSD's as well.

open diff sucks coming out of corners, launching, etc... i would definitely slap in an LSD, even if staying 4wd, as the advantages are overwhelming.
I mean the exaktly the same thing, a LSD is a must

We do alot of the 996TT - to two wheel drive conversion- You need to install a LSD - Since the car does not have one- Other than that the conversion is really pointless - Your making a good car 4 wheel drive - worse... 2wd with No LSD..

We also uprgade the factory LSD's on street GT2 and GT3- Weve done a few for the guys on the board...

We Just did Flynbduc's GT2 with revised gearset 3-through 6th and a motorsport intermediate LSD upgrade- Wow can you say Acceleration in a already fast car..

Markski

Just tested yesterday hard for the first time my sequential 6 spd with race LSD, the difference is enormous vs. stock, trust me you need it, it is even unsafe not to have one in our beasts.
