sharkster:
haven't weighted my car at all...^_^
but the only weight adding stuff on my car will be the rear subwoofer box... that's all... the rest can be removed easy in the trunk to save approximately 35lb... ^_^

I had the sun roof deleted(10-15lb??), gt3 seats installed (lets say 70lb for both??), rear seats and seat belts removed (25lb if i don't recall wrong, i measured them b4...but i might be wrong) then the spare tire is removed (25lb??? dunno). Also the rear wing is made entirely of carbon fibre.
I'll say total around 140lb removed... by the rear sub weight around 30 lb+...

I'm guessing that my car is around 100-120lb less than stock.

I'm guessing about 70% of my gauges are from Dakota Digital. I used their sensors when I used their gauges.

and dakota gauges are cheaper too... around 79 each... defi bf runs 200 a piece...

02barebones996:
sorry one last question ^___^
for A/F and EGT...
Are you saying to have 2 A/F and 2 EGT???? like the car Ken posted?
Or can I just have 1 EGT and 1 A/F...b/c I think they way is more easier for me to do...
My head is now all messed up with gauge pictures...hahahaha
I've been trying to think of a way to fit all these gauges into my console...

luting_chen,

One exhaust gauge and six sensors. You can check only one tube at a time. The same with the intercoolers. You can switch to before, after or delta. The gauge reads the sensor you select.

The afr is one gauge also, it will read whichever bank you choose. My exhaust unit is from Summit Racing, it costs about 2K. The intercooler unit is from Andial. I can't remember the cost. The afr is Dakota Digital and modified by S Car Go.

That's mighty impressive chad!

With the tire temp and pressure gauge, is there a temp. measurement for inner / mid / outer area of the footprint?

Decided now...^_^

- boost
- water temp
- oil temp
- oil pressure
- egt X2...

and don't think A/F gauge is any use for me... so decided to abandon it...

but i have one more question...
regarding to the egt sensor...
is it better to install it at the exhaust manifold before the turbo(to measure TIT), or after the turbo in the exhaust as close to turbo as possible(to measure TOT)????
if measuring the TIT, it's more accurate, but it runs higher risk of damaging the turbo isn't it? (if the thermocouple breaking loose and thus damage the turbo)

but however if it's located after the turbo measuring the TOT, the temperature won't be as accurate... (up to 400 degree F in difference under load)...

Where to locate?????????????? thanx guys...

thanx...
but Defi BF serie don't come with A/F gauge...
what's an alternate solution??? it's quite strange that they don't have it...@_@

and it'll look strange to have a d-serie A/F added with BF serie...
