That's interesting to hear about the 993tt calipers. Have others heard the same thing? I personally found the stock 996tt brakes less than ideal, particularly the pedal feel. The Brembo kits sure are a big improvement.

 

I could totally be wrong on this, but isn't the 993TT Big Red also cast iron and the 996TT monoblock aluminum? I think that was one of the differences which made the Big Reds pretty much bullet proof and the Monoblocks were warping because the aluminum wasn't strong enough for motorsport use. I could be wrong, but I seem to remember reading that somewhere.
