Get Serious!
Eurocar Boutique took over from the previous 9ff importers about a year ago.
9ff is certainly serious stuff. What sets them apart from other equally reputable shops IMO is their complete engineering approach. They have figured out what the weakest links are for different amounts of power increase and then substantially beef up those components - or they bite the bullet and make their own custom part for the application.
If anybody has any questions re: the engine upgrade packages - or anything else 9ff. Please feel free to drop us a line. First and foremost, we are Porsche enthusiasts and truly love what we are able to offer.

ECB is there any official magazine test showing the acceleration of this car or 870HP conversion? All we see is top speed record attempts and the likes with high aerodynamic modifications and cars that are quite far frombeing street cars.
Thanks
Thanks

Heres a link to a short video involving a "9ff stripper" - yes, only 660HP in a 997S. Of course 9ff would never do FI on an M97 motor. So they replaced it w/ a 660HP 3.6TT.

There are 2 910HP GT2 in the states - however, their owners are not the type to make cars available for test etc.

I know it had aome aero "adjusments" made to hit 388 kph at nardo last year - but the car was sold and yopu'll see it driving around dortmund - dusseldorf.
Imagine the euro ricers trying to get the owner to race!

ECB,
What does it mean big in Europe then? (No offence taken)
9ff in Europe is not as highly rated as you might think though, here's a recent thread on Bristish Pistonheads about a 9ff that was for sale...
http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/t...95438&f=48&h=0
I personally can't comment since there are so few of these cars and I've never been even close to one.

Thanks. I hoped that you would have a copy of one of the Sport Auto test or similar. I consider that no serious tuner (in Europe) can get away without being tested by that magazine. I have seen a German magazine test sometime back but was later removed It was being ran against some MBs, Porsche and other tuned cars.
There are no numbers published on this extreme setup other than by 9FF themselves, it would have been nice to see all the acceleration data. The Gemballa GTR750 of 2002 still leads the pack it seems.

Jean, I'll try to get some of this stuff for you.
The term "big in Europe" comes from the music industry where bands that cant/dont make it in the USA are big in japan and big in europe!
The USA is a different market. I was a 9ff customer before I began doing business with them. I was VERY impressed with the quality of the parts I bought, and was even more ecstatic with the results. The process was a pain in the butt. Being the all-around smart guy that I am - I knew there was a better way...so we did it.
The Germans dont really care about fluff and stuff, they just focus on the product, the meat if you will. Here in the USA, it seems that the "sizzle" is more important than the steak.
Having sampled their excellent steak, Eurocar came in to add some sizzle...
re: the pistonheads thread...all of our customers are offered a 2yr 24k mile warranty on engines. This is longer than Porsche themselves will warranty an individual motor (not related to the car). A lot of people hide behind keyboards and monitors and say all sorts of things...whatever.
Let them line up with my lowly 600HP TT.

- Polished T304 stainless steel selectable tone exhaust
- Control the by-pass valve with a cockpit mounted button
- Selectable dual tone option allows stock or sport sound (truly the best of both worlds)
- T304 stainless steel catalytic converters (cats available in 100 or 200 cell)
- Custom round end-pipes with engraved 9ff logo
- 9ff kit specific custom ECU software upgrade
- Re-Designed air intake box + Air Filter and Air Hose
to be honest this doesn't seem great value for $12.4k compared with other tuners but that's just my opinion.

I think we all pay a premium when it comes not only to quality but also to "name brand". There are no exceptions... I wanted my Techart body kit I had to pay...
here is another example of name branding- the same 5 bar fuel pressure regulator($240) that we buy for out P cars is $160 less if you you get the VW/Audi 5 bars.. its the bosch regulator and its the same thing.
Facts of life my friends... If it wasn't we wouldn't be so much into the GLING BLING... you wanna play you gotta pay.
