Clutch Issues

So i got the car back today from Porsche... They already put about 300+ miles on the car without my sign approval...but i guess they didnt need it... When i got the car back the clutch pedal feels spring almost... When you get mid to bottom of the pedal to the floor board it feels like a rusty spring...

I have a Stage 2 clutch with LWFW...anyone else ever have this problem..clutch has about 6k on it... THANKS

If any garage put 300 miles on my car I would have a serious problem.

Me Qwkr, can I ask which garage you brought your car to? I would definitely not approve of what they did. PERIOD.

They probably trashed your clutch. Go back and raise hell about the mileage and blame the clutch on their poor driving.

Several question: can you document that there are 300 miles more on your car now? Did the dealer record the mileage when you brought it in? Did you call the mileage to the dealer's attention when you picked up the car? If you have this info you are in a stronger position. What could they have been doing to the car that would have legitimately required putting that kind of mileage on it? Better check the tires as well. May have been some late night road testing. Remember Ferris Buehler.

They would have had to driven the car for some 6 hours or more. Why? If that is true, I would also demand a complete printout of the computer, showing over revs, etc. If you can prove it, you got them by the *****.

2nd that! Without your approval that is a serious NO...NO I always take a photo of my odometer when I drop off my cars. Especially if they are gong to sit. I have seen dealership techs do burn outs in customer cars. IMHO.. talk to the shop who put the miles on your car. If they cannot come up with a VERY good reason IMMEDIATELY... then something is amiss....

yah.. sadly dealerships have been known to let "not" qualified people drive customers cars... i use to intern (and later on work) at a mercedes dealership and i have to say customers cars sometimes get really trashed and abused by the people who work there... i've seen workers take customers cars over the weekend!!!!!!!

the mileage was documented by the dealer...shows what it went in with and what it left with as far as mileage...more to the point...PCNA knew about it but was suppose to get my approval befor they did...as PCNA wanted to find out the problem with the fuel pump issue... PCNA believes Kim the service manager at westlake Rusnak actually took the car home over the weekend as its hard to believe she put 300 miles on from monday to tuesday

In that case, I would have Kim the service manager's job on a plate. As well as compensation for mileage, wear on the vehicle, and a new clutch to replace the one she broke.

easier said then done... I WOULD LOVE KIM's job on a plate...but seriously there is no way to prove she damaged the clutch...and since its an aftermarket clutch i can see them giving me **** for it...THANK GOD i got a sachs clutch...but i am going to go there in an hour and raise some hell...especially since PCNA said she was suppose to call me prior to putting mileage on my car...

She took the car home without your knowledge???? I would be PISSED!!!! Unless they tell you ahead of time that is totally unacceptable. 300 miles to boot... I could drive from NYC to Boston in less than that. Where the hell did she go to put that kind of mileage on your car? Please keep us updated as to what they are going to do for you. At very least they should offer to install your new clutch at their expense....

PCNA made me an offer for compensation that i cant say i dont think...but that was before they took my car and joy rided it for 300+ miles... I am going to the dealer in a hour as soon as i get my new dryer hooked up... to raise hell... i figure the dealer should do some sort of compensation since i spoke to PCNA last night and said to get my approval befor doing so...
