Some dumb TechArt questions

A couple of dumb TechArt questions:

1. Referring to the attached image, have I got it right when I identify two separate TechArt GTS components:

+Rear spoiler II GTS (part 096.100.885.009)
+ Deck lid rear spoiler II GTS (part 096.100.886.009)

2. I was thinking of fitting only those components to my otherwise OEM 996 TT. Has anyone done this? Any photos available of this look? Opinions?

3. Does fitment of a Techart 320mm steering wheel mandate purchasing the hub kit?

4. Does the 320mm Techart steering wheel retain the OEM airbag?

I would PM Arling...or he will probably chime in in here shortly. He is the Techart pro. I bought some parts from him, and he is extremely helpful.

i'm not sure about the techart part numbers but i believe when i asked my friend (who supplies techart) he refered to it as one piece... i think the wing comes with the decklid...

PM me if you need my friends contact, i think he can give you a pretty good price on the real techart stuff..

I could be wrong, but when I tried to order the TechArt steering wheel in 320, I was told it was not available in the US (this from CEC). When you purchase a TechArt wheel they want core exchange also, so the airbag is installed already and no hub. Of course I will tell you I ordered my TechArt wheel (custom color) and 3 months later it was still not here, so I cancelled my order and went with FVD.

to answer ur questions:

1. to fit the Type II GTS rear wing u'll need the ''Rear spoiler II GTS (part no. 096.100.885.009).'' it comes with entire deck lid, the side bracket, the blade & carbon fiber adjustable insert. the 096.100.886.009 number does not exist in the price guide but it's on the Techart site. i'd think it's some sort of replacement part or for GT2 or even C4S. i could be wrong but u don't have to worry about it since the 096.100.885.009 is the correct part for ur Turbo.

2. i have some pics of the actual install. i'll need to find them.

3. yes. u need it.

4. no. the entire steering wheel is smaller & airbag shape differently than the stock unit.

i have the wing in stock if u're interested.

to wross,
u can get it in the states but not through CEC, the exclusive importer, because of the liability issue of the airbag. they do not want anything to happen in case of an accident. the 320mm steering wheel is manufactured by one company but sold to many aftermarket companies such as Ruf, Techart, Gemballa etc. u'll notice they all look the same except the logo on the airbag.

hope this helps. i'll look for the pics.
