I would be suprised if you could get any traction. I am spinning thru second with 4 wheel drive. How do you like the new setup on the engine side?

Shank,

Any chance of a few shots more straight on so we can see more of the wheels? I'm looking to order wheels tomorrow and am still undecided on the design... What lugs did you use?

Thanks

Shank, I gotta say those wheels are outstanding. I have had a difficult time truly appreciating the 'all black' wheel look. But what you've created are the best looking wheels I've every seen. Mark my words, you have created a new trend! And what better way to show them off than have them pounding 560 ponies to the pavement!

With all to respect to both you and Shank,

He definately did not start the trend. I would say in the past 1 to two years many people have been getting black wheels on a dark car. Then the trend start to move toward dark wheels on any coloured cars with polished lips. It is definately a hot look, but nothing new.

Zipmaster,

Thanks alot. Honestly, I wanted to acheive a similar look to Habitat's awesome M3.

However, I wasn't keen on the shiny paint black centers. It picks up too much light. Peter at wheel experts posted some pictures from the sema show of HRE's line up with various finishes. From there, I got the idea of the beed blasted (shot peened) dull look and then after, anodized black. The black does not pick up light, only the Lip.

Pictures do not do justice, as Porsches aren't that photogenic. The silver with the flat black look and polished lips look very sinister. I am extremely happy with the look. About the power/tuning...........Soon enough with professional look photos coming soon.
