Thanks for the reply. The dude says he has a bake oven. I'm not sure if it will get to 600'. Appearantly it's an old kitchen oven. Do you think I should send you my Stage 4 GTR headers for you to ceramic coat and whatever else would help. How much would it cost? Please PM me. Thanks Kevin.

The rain reference may have to do with cold water imparting
a huge localized thermal shock to a hot header, with the
implication that the ceramic may crack under that duress.
Water will draw a lot more heat more quickly on contact
than the hot exhaust gas imparts, so the temperature gradient/
thermal stress may be much higher if/when a hot header gets
splashed.
