Awesome numbers...however as I always wonder why not just a CGT or a RUF out of the box.

Why would I want to spend that type of money? This whole performance setup is still a ways from reaching 10K$. I like the stealth factor, and besides I could never bring myself to take a car like a Ruf or CGT to the track, too much to lose. I am pretty happy with my price to performance ratio, perhaps that needs a graph as well Kevin

Allright Kevin, you've got to beat 1:32 on street tires. Good luck. Give me a full report and have fun.

Tim, now that I have a GPS based timer that will give me the same data as the drag runs, an accurate timed lap will be no prob. The only issue is the forecast is for rain, but I am going anyway. Most likely on my streets but maybe the Cups if the forecast improves. Although Sat I was taking my car to a PCA inspection and the skies opened up and my brand new Cups took the water surprisingly well.Horsepower is great for the street but Motons are better for the track! We'll see. Kevin

What I'm almost positive thinking he wants you to do, is to start out before 60mph, and at WOT start counting the time to 130. Like instead of sitting at 60 on highway and punching , start at 0 or even 30 pr w/e, he told me to do the same thing but I didn't think it would be as accuarte. Apparantly thought that how 60-130 tests are done though or calculated.

Illm3, If you read the post where I describe how the 60-130 times were produced it will show it was done from 0mph. I know how these times are supposed to be done. I tried two different methods. 1: Blast from the starting line thru the traps and keep my foot in it till 130. This method requires a 2-3 and 3-4 shift because you cross the 60mph threshold in 2nd gear, and just bump the rev limiter around 133-135 in 4th. The best time with this method was 8.59 secs. The other method was to leave the line gently and around 40 mph shift DIRECTLY from 1st to 3rd thereby crossing the 60 mph threshold in 3rd and only needing a 3-4 shift. A 125+ mph trap speed with NO 2nd gear shift is in my opinion, a well programmed ECU with a thumping midrange. The best time with this method was 7.93 secs. The suprising numbers with the one shift is the trap speed on the posted time slip during the 60-130 run. I turned a 13.4 but the trap speed was still 125+ on both 1 shift 60-130 runs. These turbos were at full boost around 52 mph and crossed the 60 mph threshold in full stride. As for the times produced by punching it at 60 and taking it to 130, there is NO way these times could be produced that way. To be honest, I dont think I could get below 10 sec 60-130 with that method. Again, I am not sure what Jean wants, but will accomodate him in any way. Kevin

Kevin, great post. So nice to see someone so open with their results. The most important measure however is the radius of your smile...and to that I infer you have got what you want. Kudos..good luck and drive safe.

Wow crazy stuff, skipping 2nd and so on LOL! Whenever i do my tests i start out at the number (40/60) to my ending mph, crazy because my times are fast then, and would be much faster from starting before and counting at WOT passing the 60mph mark, my 60-130 is about 9 sec's or so, 40-100 5 (tested with awd not rwd like now, without vflow also)! I want to do offical test's though, not on video then just counting, didnt know you can get times off running at the strip!
