techequipment SSK
hey, i got the techequipment ssk from brandywine.. do i have to get the part installed by a dealer to have it covered by warranty? i think the install isn't that bad... if i install it myself, is it still covered?

no you dont but when something happens to it or your tranny they still have an out! Why take the chance on a car under warranty? Jason let them do it, its cheap and piece of mind!

since the 2 gear issues have been linked to after market shifters.... and thus voided warranty claims... I suggest that you get a dealer to put in... there is also a special tool to line up the linkage and that alone sometimes can cause the synch rolls to mess up.
I had my tranny changed after having the b&M shifter... luckly it was under warranty- I was lucky... I now have the SSK.
