Ditching 996TT hydraulic clutch assist?

Not a big deal at all. You need to pull the line from the slave and swap it with the GT3 line. From there you will need to cap the feed line coming from the engine bay and then replace the slave. It is all a direct swap. Easy stuff.

I posted a DIY on Rennlist awhile ago in the 996 forum. Look at the PET detail for the turbo and you'll see what's involved. Contrary to most people's thinking, this spring assists in pushing the pedal downward and NOT pulling it back. Pedal throw will be much harder but provides for a much better feel and control of the clutch.

Very constructive comment, thanks. Love my new setup, and I'm used to it already. Just looking for some additional "feel".
So, back to the topic - anyone who's done this, do you have some feedback?
Thanks
