Question Ditching 996TT hydraulic clutch assist?

Can it be done, and how?

Remove the clutch power spring on the pedal and see how you like it. Much better feel for the clutch.

Not a big deal at all. You need to pull the line from the slave and swap it with the GT3 line. From there you will need to cap the feed line coming from the engine bay and then replace the slave. It is all a direct swap. Easy stuff.

The accuator weight wise is a real anchor. We removed it a long time ago.

I don't understand how harder means more feel. My 993 has a heavy clutch and it only feels "harder" to drive with it ,than my 996TT stock clutch. To each their own.
