flatsixnut,

I am not refering to "turbo's" as in motor. I am refering to the 996tt and GT2 as in weight. As in 1000 to 1300 pounds overweight.

sticky is infamous around these parts
I'd rather have cars like porsche's get safer and safer even if that means the weight needs to be increased. I would rather have the porsche be 1000 pounds overweight but an extremely safe sports car rather than have it be so light and small that if the driver makes a mistake we lose them.

sticky,

There is nothing wrong with that. Your position confirms what I'm trying to convey. Weather it is power, handling, safety or comfort, there are trade off's depending to what extent you push any one catagory. The more you push the envelope in any one catagory, the more the the catagories will suffer.

Thanks!

The 590hp Ruf is awesome in all respects and also will post a low 10 second 0-200km

All these test runs forget to tell you ambient temp. ie you will see Roock's new 600 test in a magazine in a few months. The test was in Mich in Nov (want to know the temp??) I dont know the humidity or temp in many of the tests, but it is probably just as relevant as tires or any other variable.
The article claimed that the Manthey was a b**** to drive in traffic, because the clutch was "rock-hard". It also doesn´t wake up until 4000 rpm. These setbacks, however, are nothing that couldn´t be fixed with a multi-disk clutch and a pair of zero-clearance or BB turbos.
