Newbie here, don't post much but wanted to say thanks for the great info.
Got the car a few months ago & the mods already started , here are a few pictures of DEFI gauges & cross coilovers. What do you guy's think?

 

Looks great! Love those Defi gauges. They do look huge though. Did you do the install, and what did the entire setup cost you approximately?

 

What does the unit below the gauges do?

 

Thanks! Had the install done at a local shop, the gauges were about a G with the controler. I hate small gauges! the shop charged me about 500 bucks.

 

They are two pieces, the top one is the radar detector & the bottom piece
is the controller for the gauges. It connects the gauges together as one
for the following funtions. 1-sets peak points, 2-records for three minutes
3-resets, and other stuff.

Nice gauges, but I must say I would not be happy with that install. What size are those? 60mm

 

To me the gauges seem unproportioned to the rest of the interior....They are nice though!

 

The picture was taken close up! which make them appear bigger than what
they are. I will be taken the car to my interior guy, which will make them look
factory . I did't expect much from the tuners shop, as far as the interior
install is concerned. As far as the size 2 3/8.

 

can you datalog with them? how does the 3 min thing work?

 

You press the record button & the controller holds three minutes of data!
boost, fuel, pressure.

 

can you download it to a laptop and replay the data there on screen?

if so, will it record other data such as TPS and RPM to go along with it?
